وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَحْسَنُ أَثَٰثًا وَرِءْيًا

And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance!
